This message in a bottle pop-up card is full of seaside charm with a row of beach huts, fishing boats and lighthouse in a clever multi layered design. Seaside inspired gifts and decoration are always popular, perhaps it the magic of the sea, or maybe they just invoke happy memories of summer and ice cream. This series of models are made from re-cycled materials, tin cans, wood and lots of imagination and attention to detail.
The fishy boat is a simply boat with wire rigging mounted on a wooden block with some small fish, looking as though they are in the water beneath the boat.
size approx 18cm tall and 6cm wide
Living by the sea is something of a privilege, as I could if I felt the need go and visit it every day. For those who are seafarers at heart, but not as fortunate I have created this nautical bunting made from lovely wool felt in two shades of blue, decorated with anchors and sail boats with red trim. Each flag measures 10cm by 13cm.
