Part one of our summer workshop programme is now open. It features three needle felting workshops, all suitable for beginners and taking place in the gallery. All workshops have at least two dates one a midweek evening, the other a Sunday. The three needle felting workshops offer the opportunity to make a colourful brooch, a local grey seal or for those who prefer something more e, a needle felted Goddess.
You can find the detail book on line by clicking on the individual links above. All of the materials I use in the workshop are ethically sourced. If you would like to join a workshop but the date is not right for you please get in touch as I will run other classes. Alternatively if you have friends who would like to do a class I am happy to arrange a private workshop in the gallery for groups of 3 – 6 people at standard workshops rates.
I also have my popular wet felt picture making workshop running in June. This is a lovely way to introduce yourself to the art of felt making, using wool, water, soap and friction, it is quite magical and be warned, can be addictive.
I also run a monthly creative group, ‘Art with Friends’, which is held on the first Sunday of the month. It is designed for people to come and experiment, play with a different techniques and materials to encourage the growth of their creativity. It is not a formal art lesson, it is a nurturing, supportive group of creative exploration.
All workshops include all materials, as well as tea/coffee. If you have any questions please do get in touch or call into the gallery.
